Sustainability Director

Description: 

Ideal Sustainability Director (SD) will be capable of analyzing facility data in order to recommend the best LED lighting system options for the client. SD will communicate effectively with C-level and facility management contacts in order to truly understand customer priorities. SD will identify top tier lighting solutions for customers and coordinate estimates on all potential financial opportunities. The SD will generate and present project proposals to customers. SD will coordinate the installation of chosen lighting system and manage project through completion. Compensation is a commission-based program with excellent opportunity for performance-based upward mobility.

Responsibilities:  


• Provide technical lighting system expertise and advice
• Coordinate product or service requests regarding product specifications, applications or technical inquiries
• Generate lighting quotes and proposals• Coordinate and manage implementation of advanced lighting systems
• Understand and explain complex financial agreements
• Participate in continuous improvement of work processes with customers and ELCs
• Support business development opportunities and develop strategies for accelerating the market adoption
• Manage the sales performance of independent representatives• Be a good person

Required Experience:


• Minimum 4 years of experience in sales, project managing, or installing advanced lighting control systems
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets• Self-starter with ability prioritize and deliver results while balancing deadlines
• Detail oriented with strong problem solving skills
• Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools

Preferred Experience:


• Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering
• Prior employment with commercial lighting manufacturer, distributor or contractor
• Strong financial understanding with the ability to cross-sell multiple products and services remotely
• Ability to understand and present complex legal agreements

Environmental Lighting Consultant

Description: 

Environmental Lighting Consultants (ELCs) are responsible for pre-qualifying potential customers for LED lighting upgrades. ELCs source all relevant lighting information from customer facilities and determine the qualification of the project for a lighting system investment. ELCs should be comfortable with direct client communication, and may work remotely or from home. Compensation is a commission-based program with an excellent opportunity for performance-based upward mobility.

Responsibilities:  


•Prospect and qualify leads by conducting cost-comparison energy analysis of current and projected electrical usage for a client facility

• Communicate effectively with customers to determine financial and eco goals•Utilize online tools and log all communications with customers in company CRM

• Conduct preliminary site evaluations while proactively seeking to identify real customer needs

• Manage customer expectations and provide subject matter expertise on commercial lighting industry standards, product baselines and categorization

• Generate referral business from existing network contacts• Be a good person

Required Experience:


• Strong written and verbal English communication skills

• Strong organizational skills

• Able to work independently and think strategically

• Ability to effectively communicate complex systems to a variety of audiences

• Proficiency with Excel and CRM systems

Preferred Experience:


• Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering

• Familiarity with reflected ceiling plans

• Knowledge of lighting products and distribution
